This formula activates the fluid condensing capacity of yangming metal of the West and nourishes blood, so as to generate abundant milk via the yangming/jueyin axis. It helps replenish blood and yang in the postpartum period. It is based off of the famous postpartum recovery formula of the Jin Gui Yao Lue, Nei Bu Dang Gui Jian Zhong Tang, and inspired by Sun Simiao’s lactation formulae.
